Hol-Mac Corporation named Best Places to Work in Mississippi by MBJ | Business

For the second consecutive year, Hol-Mac Corporation has been selected as one of the Best Places to Work in Mississippi by the Mississippi Business Journal. Jamie Holder, President of Hol-Mac Corporation says, “Receiving this award is one of the greatest honors our company has ever received because it’s given to us by our employees.”
The Company’s Mission Statement holds that its employees are its most valuable assets. Holder added, “We understand the importance of retaining those most valuable to our organization, which is why we are in the business of developing people. Hol-Mac is a people development company that produces world class products. There are over 43 employees that have been with the Company for over twenty years. Of those, 26 have twenty-five years with the Company and 12 have over thirty years.” Throughout it nearly 50 years of business, Hol-Mac has experienced tremendous success and fortune. Hol-Mac Corporation serves Original Equipment Manufacturers as a major supplier of steel fabrications, hydraulic cylinders, and hydraulic fuel tanks. Its capabilities include product design, prototype development and testing, custom tooling, laser cutting, robotic welding, skived and roller burnishing, painting, sub/final assembly, and contract manufacturing. In addition to supplying Original Equipment Manufacturers, Hol-Mac manufacturers three proprietary products: Pac-Mac Refuse Equipment, Hammerhead Off-Road Armor, and BenchMark Tanks.
The Company has received a large number of awards and recognition including the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Above and Beyond Award, 1995 Mississippi Quality Commitment Award, the 1996 Mississippi Quality Excellence Award, the 1997 Mississippi Quality Excellence Award and the 1999 Mississippi Quality Governor’s Award. In 2008 and 2009 the company was always awarded Bronze Certification from Caterpillar. It has received 2011 ISO 9001:2001 Quality Management System recertification (first awarded 2005) and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System Certification, as well as being the first manufacturer in the state of Mississippi to receive StormReady Supporter status by the National Weather Service.
